Birchbox Haul

Everyone needs some retail therapy every once and awhile. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed recently, and a little online shopping was just the thing I needed to relax. I typically place an order through Birchbox whenever I have a lot of points that I want to use. I racked up 300 points recently, which is like $30 in their shop. That meant most of my haul today was absolutely free! Oh how I love their points system!
The first product I picked up was a no-brainer. I've been dying to try Bioderma. This French brand has been on the top of my must-try list for ages. This makeup-removing micelle solution is supposed to be a complete game changer. I can't wait to try it.
I totally picked up the next product because it has a hilarious name. The Floss Gloss Nail Polish in the shade Gangsta Boo speaks to me on a whole other level. The deep red is gorgeous, but the name is really what sold me.
I am a huge fan of konjac sponges. The One Love Organics Cleansing Sponge is a bamboo charcoal heart that is absolutely adorable. These sponges make my skin feel incredibly soft.

The final product I grabbed is the Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Hibiscus. It is a sheer red that adds just the perfect pop of color without being too over the top. I love tinted lip balms during the spring and summer.

I also was able to receive some free samples of products with my order. I received a full sized pot of the POP Beauty Pure Pigment in the shade Metallic Peach. I tend to stay away from pigments due to the mess, but the packaging of this seems to keep the mess to a minimum. The shade is also gorgeous! I also received a deluxe sample size of the Neil George Conditioner. Unfortunately, my sample was damaged, and leaks from the top. I put the product in a bottle that I had laying around, so it's no big deal. Finally, I got a deluxe sample of the Paula's Choice RESIST Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum. I've never tried this brand before, but I am always game to try new anti-aging products.
